Wild Imaginations

Confession: When I was little(and maybe even today)I had wild imaginations. I watched too many episodes of The Fairy Oddparents until I wanted to believe that someday two fairy godparents will suddenly poof in my bedroom, and burst into saying something like "We're your Fairy Godparents!" And when it didn't,I figured that my life wasn't miserable enough.

But obviously that ain't happening. Sometimes I wish that my life was like a cartoon show. People always seem much happier in cartoon shows.
I wish I could be like Sabrina, the teenage witch,so I could just take make spells and take revenge on the people that have hurt me.
I wish my teenage life could be like the kids on Hey Arnold! Somehow their life seem so much more interesting.
I wish I could be like Spongebob. He's always bubbly and happy, and has a positive mindset and he never fails to make people smile. I wish I was more like that.

  1. Hey!

Your life IS amazing, whether or not you know it yet. Keep a smile on and let your inner Spongebob Squarepants come out.

All it takes is a good heart and a good mind. Though I don't actually know you, I have a feeling you have what it takes ;)

  2. But just think about it - if you were CONSTANTLY bubbly and happy you wouldn't value happiness. And yeah, sometimes I get that feeling, too. When I was a kid, I wanted my life to be like Star Wars, lol

  3. I always wanted to be on Winnie the Pooh, so I could eat honey with Pooh, plant carrots with Rabbit, bounce with Tigger, snuggle with Eeyore, read with Owl, play with Roo, cook with Kanga and fly kites with Piglet.
    Those were the days.

  4. I wanted to be a beautiful princess, and when my mom told me I would have to marry a prince, I got very dejected. I was only 5. I knew that I was too young to get married. :)

  5. If it makes you feel any better. Every time I saw a wishing fountain I would ask my dad for a penny and close my eyes, toss the penny and wish that i had fairy god parents thanks to that show. ;)

  6. Yeah you will look back when you are an adult and realize how wonderful your life was. I know as a teen I hated my life. Now I say "Damn I had it good"

On that note I am totally with you on the Sponge Bob thing! Living life in ignorant bliss would be fun! LOL!

  7. Yeah, everyone's lives in cartoons do always seem to be pretty darn awesome. But I guess that's what makes people want to watch them, right? :P I have to admit though, it would be pretty awesome to really live in a pineapple under the sea and be as silly as Spongebob.

  8. You are so interesting.
I think I watched way too many cartoons when I was little. That's the only reason I can give for never acting as an adult..lol

  9. Yeah, I used to wish to be Sabrina as well! And I was so dumb back then that I thought witches were real. Haha.

  10. Sorry but I had to laugh. If I lived a cartoon existence it would be in something like Road Runner in which I was always getting knocked over and picking myself up, only to be knocked over again. A great post, I hope you don't mind if I use this idea on my blog.

  11. I don't want to be like any cartoon show, real life is more valuable.

But if you want to be more happy and "bubbly", why not set out a goal to become so? I did that very same thing. :) I changed my whole life!
